Summer Math Review:
A math skills workshop for students moving from 6th grade to 7th grade and from Pre-Algebra to Algebra 1. During the course, students will review some of the content covered during 2nd semester last year to strengthen their memory for mathematical procedures. This is a great course for students who need to bolster their math skills or get a math refresher before the school year begins.

We can also arrange individual tutoring sessions for math review and pre-teaching over the summer.
Elementary Math Skills Review: Rising 5th & 6th Graders
A two-hour class offered three different times throughout the summer for rising 5th & 6th graders who need to review key math facts (math fact fluency, multiplication, division) and review key mathematical procedures to prepare them for the upcoming year. This class is designed to be a fun way to refresh math skills before the year begins.

Creative Writing Course
This workshop is designed to help develop students' creative writing. Students will learn how to craft a story arc, generate captivating introductions, develop character profiles, and express their ideas fluently and clearly in their writing.

High School: Writing Academic Essays with Evidence
​
This workshop is designed to help students develop and fine-tune their skills in writing academic essays using evidence from various sources. This course will cover various types of academic essays and themes required in high school, such as explication, research, and analysis (theme, symbol, and character-based). Students will learn how to construct an outline template that will be useful for future essays and theme assignments.
Students will go over each step in the drafting and writing process:

(Great for ACT English section Prep also)
The Grammar Course is designed to teach students the key concepts and grammar rules necessary for high school and standardized tests like the ACT and SAT. This class is appropriate for rising 9th -12th graders.

This class is perfect for students trying to raise their scores on the English or Writing portion of the
ACT and SAT.
