Reading Comprehension​

  • Rising 6th-8th (2:00 - 4:00)

Location: Carraway Center

​*Students can schedule individual sessions to work on building reading comprehension skills over the summer and throughout the school year. 

​

Reading Readiness Workshops

 

Reading Readiness classes are designed to provide a multi-sensory, structured literacy approach to developing reading skills. Students will have fun engaging in direct learning, playing literacy-based games, and developing critical decoding (sounding out words) and encoding (spelling words) skills. Students will also work on fluency and comprehension exercises. Students can join for 2 sessions over the summer or come to as many as they can attend.
